Five of the top six teams in the Three Rivers Conference standings for girls basketball are Miami County schools and two county teams shared the league title; Bethel and Covington – both fielding 12-2 conference record.
Fitting, all six girls who were chosen first-team are Miami County players; Carlie Besecker and Claudia Harrington of Covington, Jenna Brumbaugh of Milton-Union, Maryn Gross of Miami East, Sarah Johnson of Troy Christian, and Bethel’s Karley Moore.
Claudia Harrington of Covington was also chosen as the Player of the Year in the TRC.
