
BRANDT – The Bethel Bees started fast by building a 6-1 lead and then closed the show with 4 runs in the bottom of the sixth to cap a 10-2 lead over Milton-Union in TRC action on Wednesday.
The Bees racked up 13 hits in the contest and played error-free baseball in the field while hurlers Braylon Schroeder and Zach Goodman kept the Bulldogs off balance at the plate.
Schroeder went 5 innings on the hill with 7 strikeouts and 4 walks, while Goodman toasted 2 innings and struck out 1.
Eight Bees connected on hits with Gabe Veldman going 4-for-4 with an RBI and a runs scored to lead the way. Noah McCann went 3-for-3 with an RBI and 2 runs scored, while Grant bean, Kyle Brueckman, Cody Belaet, Evan Goodman, Braylon Schroeder and Elijah Schroeder all, had hits in the contest.
