
DAYTON – The Bethel Bees competed in the inaugural Three Rivers Conference Track & Field Championships at Northridge High School and the boys finished 6th as a team, while the girls finished seventh.
Overall, Bethel had several placers with Sara Newton leading the way by placing in three events. She took third in 100 meter hurdles in a time of 18.27, third in the pole vault with a height of 7-6, and sixth in the 300 meter hurdles in a time of 53.73.
Kenny Wise finished third in the 200 with a time of 23.50 and seventh in 100 meter dash in a time of 11.78
The boys 4×200 relay team took third in a time of 1:34.81, while the girls 4×200 relay team took sixth in a time of 1:57.86.
The boys 4×100 relay team took fifth in a time of 46.30, while the girl finished sixth in a time of 55.92.
Karly Moore took fourth in the high jump (4-6) and sixth in the 400 with a time of 1:05.27.
Lydia Brannan finished sixth in the 800 with a time of 2:45.28, while Bryce Schweikhardt took seventh for the boys with a time of 2:15.89.
Julie Sebastian placed fifth in the 3200 in a time of 14:53.06.
The girls 4×400 relay team finished fourth in a time of 4:33.62.
John Dillman placed third in the long jump with a distance of 18-0.25.
The 4×800 relay team finished fourth in a time of 9:35.36
