
GREENVILLE – Bradford proved it is still a talented softball team as the defending state champions defeat state-ranked Greenville 5-3 on Saturday.
Bradford connected on 8 hits in the contest with Austy Miller leading the way with 2 hits. Nylani Beireis had a hit for 2 RBVI and scored a run herself, while Rylee Canan and Abby Fike doubled in the contest.
Also connecting on hits were Remi Harleman, Izzy Hamilton and Shay Swick.
Nylani Beiris pitched six-and-one-third innings, while Izzy Hamilton went two-thirds in the circle. The duo combined to allow just 3 runs on 9 hits and struck out 3 batters against a very good hitting Greenville team.
