
The Bradford powerlifting program has a strong tradition of collecting state hardware as evident by the amount of trophies that line the walls in the weight room.
And if the results the Railroaders put up at the Tri-Village meet, Bradford is well on its way to collecting more hardware in the near future.
For the Bradford girls, six ladies claimed individual titles to lead the ladies to a team championship; Shayleigh Swick (115, 11-12), Isabella Painter (125, 9-10), Ryanna Kennedy (175, 11-12), Sarah Beckstedt (195, 11-12), Ellie Richards (Unlimited, 9-10) and Remi Harleman (Unlimited, 11-12).
Taking runner-up for the girls were McKinzy Hemmelgarn (115, 9-10), Emma Smith (145, 9-10), Brooke Phillips (Unlimited, 9-10), Destiny Clark (175, 9-10) and Elizabeth Skinner (195, 9-10).
The Bradford boys crowned three champions on its way to finishing third as a team.
The individual winners were Josh Derstine (125, 11-12), Garrett Trevino (135, 9-10) and Ben Kitts (155, 11-12).
Taking second were Brick Burgett (125, 11-12), John Troxel (155, 9-10) and Shawn Jones (Unlimited, 11-12).
