CASSTOWN – With the majority of the roster back from a team last season that dominated the TRC, the Milton-Union Bulldogs are obviously the cream of the crop in the league this year.
The was evident once again on Friday as the Bulldogs defeated Miami East 49-0 to improve to 6-0 overall and 3-0 in the TRC.
Senior Blake Brumbaugh was a one man wrecking crew early as he scored four times in the opening quarter – two via rush, one in the passing game and then a pick-six.
Jordan Foose scored on a long run to make the score 35-0 after one quarter of play and Conner Gibson ran in a score in the second quarter for a 42-0 lead at the break.
In their six wins combined, the Bulldogs have scored 264 points and allowed just 34. In TRC play, Milton-Union has scored 154 points and surrendered just 7.
The Bulldogs look to keep the momentum going next week at Covington.
