
DEGRAFF – Milton-Union made the trek to DeGraff on Thursday and picked up a 10-3 win in a TRC matchup against Riverside.
Leading 5-3 after four innings, Milton-Union broke the game open with four runs in the fifth and the plated an insurance run in the seventh.
The Bulldogs connected on 11 base hits in the contest, while limiting Riverside to 6 hits.
Nathan Thompson had a big day with 3 hits, 3 RBI and 2 runs scored. One of his hits was a double.
Peyton Nichols had 2 hits, while Connor Fijakowska, Zach Loving’s, Nathan Morter, Ben Schommer, Eric Trittschuh and Nick Walters all had one hit.
Nathan Morter went the first three innings on the hill for the win and Micah Russell tossed the final four innings to pick up the save.
