
Tippecanoe’s Emma Hanrahan qualified for the Ohio High School Wrestling Coaches Association girls state tournament for the second year in a row and this time she came away with some hardware by placing 7th in the 125-pound weight class at Hilliard Davidson High School.
Hanhrahan won her opening bout at state with an impressive 9-0 major decision victory over Zenna Stirling of Watkins Memorial, but dropped her second match in the Quarterfinal.
She was able to secure a place omg the podium with a 1:32 pin of Jocelyn Schaeffer from Gibsonburg and then followed a defeat in the third consolation round with an 8-3 decision victory over Symone Morton Miamisburg High School for 7th place.
