PIQUA, OHIO-The Piqua Indians trailed the Troy Trojans 65-66 in wins over the long history of the battle between two of the Miami County’s most prolific football programs. Piqua put an exclamation point on Friday night’s 59-0 grudge match victory over the Trojans and now the series is tied…again.
Troy’s bright spot on offense was running back Jahari Ward’s 88 yards on 18 carries to give him 314 after three games.
Troy travels to Stebbins this Friday night to take on another Indians team but hopefully a much better outcome for Troy Everhart’s Trojans.
