
WEST MILTON – Milton-Union had its way with Northridge on Tuesday in an 18-0 run rule victory over the Polar Bears.
The Lady Bulldogs scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the first and then exploded for 13 runs in the bottom of the second for a 15-0 cushion. Three more runs followed in the third for the 18-0 final margin.
Offensively, Milton-Union tallied 18 hits with Raegan Fulton, Rhi Emmons, Miley Jones, and Taylor Fulb all having three hits each to lead the charge. Fulton drove in 3 runs and scored 3 more, while Emmons scored 3 times and drove in 2 runs and Jones had two runs and 2 RBI. Carly Zimmer went 2-for-2 at the plate with 3 RBI and a run scored.
Zimmer pitched three hitless innings with 7 strikeouts and Madeline McGuffy tossed two one-hit innings with 4 strikeouts.
