COVINGTON – The Milton-Union boys and girls cross country teams had strong showings in the Buccaneer FOE 3998 Invitational on Saturday at the Covington Fraternal Order of Eagles Picnic Grounds with 13 schools participating in the event. Both teams finished third in the teams standings.
For the boys, Ty Furlong led the Bulldogs by taking third as an individual, posting a time of 17:56.3.
The girls were led by two runners who finished in the top ten with Savanna Smith finishing 8th with a time of 22:08.2 and Kami Schatz taking tenth place with a time of 22:39.9.
