TROY-The Lady Trojans had high hopes for a trip to Centerville on Monday against 17-3 Lebanon but Springboro pitcher Jordan Heekin and her teammates had other ideas handing the home team a 13-3 loss Wednesday afternoon at Market Street Field. Heekin held the potent Troy offense to 6 hits and 3 runs in seven innings of work while the Lady Panther offense chased Troy starting pitcher Abbie Welbaum after 4 innings.
Troy was led by Elise McCann’s two hits and Lilly James added two RBI’s on a single in the second to tie things up.
Troy finishes up the season with games against Piqua in MVL action.
