VERSAILLES – Four Milton-Union wrestlers advanced to the district tournament with three claiming sectional titles on Saturday at Versailles High School. The Bulldogs finished fifth out of fourteen in the team standings with 116.5 points.
Winning individual sectional championships for the Bulldogs were Payton Mayfield (126 pounds), Nathan Barker (157 pounds) and Colton Hultgren (190 pounds).
Trey Kiser also qualified for districts by taking third place in a very tough 175 pound weight class.
Two Bulldogs wrestlers will make the trip to districts as alternates by taking fifth place – Jacob Leightner (120 pounds) and Ian Coffey (165 pounds).
