TROY – The Troy Trojans hosted the annual Troy Invitational on Saturday and put together a strong showing by finishing third out of 13 teams. The Trojans accumulated 195.5 team points, behind only Fairmont (289) and Miami East (263.5).
Leading the way for Troy were four wrestlers who finished runner-up in their respective weight classes; T.J. Murray (106), Nathan Brewster (138), Tyler Plunkett (150) and Xavier Poffenberger (175).
Anden Kammer (120) and Nolan Fox (126) took fourth, while Danny Murray (165) and Owen Zickafoose (190) too fifth and Aaron Oates (132) and Kiernan Schnur (215) took sixth.
