
TROY – Troy Christian kept its hot streak going by sweeping Northridge 8-2 and 7-0 in a double-header on Saturday.
In the 7-0 win, freshman Judah Simmons tossed a two-hitter where he struck out 12 and walked just one batter.
Offensively, The Eagles were every efficient by score 7 runs on five hits with Paul MvcDonald leading the way with 2 hits, an RBI and scoring twice. Gavin Blore, Zane Harris and Judah Simmons also had hits for the Eagles.
In the 8-2 victory, Gavin Blore and Zane Harris combined to lead the Eagles on the hill. The duo combined to strike out 9 and allowed 2 runs on 6 hits.
Troy Christian connects on 8 hits and scored 2 runs in the second, 1 in the third, 4 in the fourth and 1 in the sixth.
Lucas Day had 3 hits, 2 doubles, 2 RBI and scored twice, while Matthew Major had 2 doubles, 1 RBI and 1 run scored. Camden Koukol tripled as well.
