
The Troy girls earned a berth in the State finals to be bowled next Saturday. The girls started strong and never looked back at the District Tournament to finish as SW Ohio District Runner-up. The ladies jumped into first place after a team game of 990 to start the tournament, then followed with team games of 991 and 954. The Trojans stayed in first or second place all day and finished with a 4,034 (302 pins higher than the previous week at Sectional on the same oil pattern).
Kayleigh McMullen was the individual District champion after rolling games of 230, 245, and 213 for a 688 series. Kylie Schiml also made the All-District tournament team by rolling a 614 series to finish seventh individually. Aiyana Godwin (525), Kiandra Smith (552), and Morgan Shilt (556) all rolled well during the team games and Kaylee Kalmar and Kristin Sedam gave the team an extra boost during baker play.
