(Springfield) The Troy High School hockey team ended the season with a 5-0 victory over Westlake in the P.O.D. Tournament held at the NTPRD Chiller in Springfield, Ohio Sunday morning.
Quinn Gariety, Ian Francis-Knott, Gabrielle Paff, Kaden Lombardo and Brady Smith scored goals for the Trojans team which finished the season with a 8-17-2 record, including the post season.
Goalie Noah Carver recorded 17 saves while the team had 31 shots on goal.
Seniors Mike McQuirk, Joey Brussell and Maddy Logan played their final game for Troy.
Head coach Rick Szabo will return 11 players for next years team with a strong incoming freshman class.
