TROY WINS OVER BUTLER IN WALK-OFF FASHION

TROY- Lauren Fonner was the hitting star for the Lady Trojans Friday night against Butler, knocking in both runs for the 2-1 victory. Brianna Lavender beat out an infield single to short and stole second, putting her in scoring position. Fonner then stepped to the plate and was down 1-2 in the count when she delivered the game-winner.

Troy was down 1-0 in the bottom of the fifth inning when senior catcher Allyson Burns scored the tying run on another single by Fonner.
