Troy Sophomore gymnast Kylie Buechter qualified as an individual in the Vault for the OHSAA Gymnastics Meet on March 5th at Hilliard Bradley High School.
Buechter, coached by Larry McCoppin, scored an 8.6 in the Vault for 5th place at the district meet on February 19th at Lakota East High School.
Also at districts, Buechter placed 13th out of 61 athletes in the All Around standings with 33.700 accumulative points. She tallied an 8.6 in the Vault, which was good for 5th place and qualified her for state, an 8.3 in the Bars, 8.2 on the Beam, and an 8.6 in the Floor competition. Buechter’s AA Base score was 33.825.
The state championships will be held March 4-5, 2022 at Hilliard Bradley High School (2800 Walker Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026).
