
PIQUA – Two competitors will represent Milton-Union at the state track meet after placing in the top four of the Division II Regional at Piqua High School.
Carter Tinnerman won the Pole Vault competition with a height of 15-00.00. The Bulldog senior finished eight inches higher than the second place finisher.
Blake Brumbaugh, junior, advanced to state in the Long Jump. He finished second with a distance of 21-07.00, just a half inch short of winning a regional title.
Junior Annie Smith and senior Ray Copeland came up just short of making it to state as they both finished in fifth place in their respective events. Smith ran a 16.32 in the 100 hurdles and Copeland cleared 6-1 in the high jump.
