
COVINGTON – The Miami East boys and girls cross country teams put together strong showings in the Buccaneer FOE 3998 Invitational on Saturday at the Covington Fraternal Order of Eagles Picnic Grounds with 13 schools participating in the event. The girls finished in fifth place as a team, while the boys finished 6th.
For the girls, Maryn Gross finished in the top ten by crossing the finish line in a time of 21:42.3, good for sixth place as an individual.
The boys were led by an outstanding performance by Andrew Lane, who finished fourth with a time of 18:07.4.
